Knowing and naming our truth gives us a chance to make choices with more awareness and self-compassion.

Each of us arrives at an impasse in life at some point or another. Lately, I have been tending more and more to view these impasses as collisions with our personal myth and task, and I'm curious to explore with my clients what multitude of experiences, feelings, and beliefs may be embedded in a stuck moment in life. I have a deep respect for the challenges we all face as we navigate the mythic and noble narratives of our lives which require so much courage, trust, and heart.
My clients are diverse, including people who experience depression, anxiety, grief, anger, and shame, creative folks stalled at manifesting their potential, gentle souls who find it hard to navigate in this frenetic world, people who have experienced trauma, and those who are looking for a place to be heard and regain balance, among others. My therapy practice invites interaction amidst these kinds of inner knots and tangles, while orienting towards living with authenticity, freedom, and pleasure.
The relationship between therapist and client has been shown to be one of the most important elements of fruitful therapy. I bring a warm and spacious style to my therapeutic relationships, value my clients' innate wisdom, prize safety and trust, can be gently frank when needed, and love to invite moments of joy and laughter too.
